COMMENTS:  Boston posted a winning week and jumped 3 spots in the standings; with the 5th-place team only 6.5 back it’s still anybody’s division…including Hugh’s Blue Jays, who went 5-0…Skrovan’s Tribe posted the best record in the AL central to gain a game and a half back on the Tigers…..the actual Angels have won 3 in a row for the first time all year, but Achten’s counterpart went 7-0 for the best record in the league…and puts him in 3rd place in the overall WOR standings…nobody in the NL East had a winning record last week…and Atlanta still holds the largest lead of any NL division….4 of 5 NL West teams are within 3 games of first…Jeremy Moore’s Cardinals went 6-1, best in the NL, and are creeping out in front of the division…The ACTUAL ERA of the Diamondback pitching staff is 3.30….Cleveland is 3rd in the overall power rankings, tops in the AL, and they haven’t made a trade yet…It finally happened: The Washington bullpen allowed an inherited runner to score…their season total is now 1…the Cardinal season total is 3…sparking heated dispute on the 4th floor of the College Park building at Cal.
